February 8th news, Newton Project was founded in 2018 with the goal of providing infrastructure for the "community economy". Newton Project supports the development of community economy by building decentralized infrastructure. With the successful completion of the first phase, Newton Project is about to embark on a new journey. In January 2025, Newton DAO was officially established as a decentralized autonomous organization composed of all NEW token holders. This is an important turning point for the Newton Project, marking the stage of the project's full decentralization. Newton DAO's governance model is decided by the community and no longer relies on centralized "project teams" or authoritative organizations. The Newton DAO community rediscussed and determined the direction of the project. Newton Project will focus on building infrastructure for heterogeneous blockchains and assets. In order to better fit the new development direction, Newton Project will officially rename it AB to reflect a new mission and goal.
