Golden Finance reported that Senator Tim Scott, a senior member of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, issued a statement on the X platform expressing his opposition to the upcoming review of the Biden administration candidate nomination on December 11. He viewed Democrats' last-minute push for President Joe Biden's nominees, including the re-election of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Commissioner Caroline Crenshaw, as a "clear attempt to thwart President Trump's agenda." Scott stressed that the American people had made their stance on the economic agenda clear in the November 6 election and called for a halt to related rule-making activities. It was reported this morning that Coinbase CEO called for the removal of U.S. SEC Commissioner Crenshaw, saying he had obstructed a Bitcoin ETF.
