Golden Finance reported that the law firm Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP announced that it plans to serve as the attorney firm to launch a class action lawsuit against Block. The lawsuit is called Gonsalves v. Block, Inc., case number 25-00642 (ND Cal.), the case alleges that Block and certain of its executives violated U.S. securities laws, including that Block encouraged the use of Bitcoin by imposing minimum obligations on customers seeking to open accounts, trade, and deposit and withdraw funds.
