According to news on December 12, Lamina1, a Metaverse project founded by Neal Stephenson, the author of "Avalanche", announced on Wednesday that it will merge with Another World. Another World is a Korean Metaverse project originally built on the Kaia blockchain in 2022 and will become part of the Lamina1 ecosystem. Lamina1’s parent company, Open Metaverse Limited, acquired Another World in an “all-token transaction,” according to a statement. Lamina1 said that in the coming weeks, it plans to “engage Another World’s 500,000+ token holders, investors, metaverse builders, developers and hobbyists through token swaps and targeted introductions aimed at activating the community.” The developer community migrates to this L1 ecosystem."
