Viewpoint: Non-farm data may keep the Fed in existence

According to Golden Finance, Eric Winograd, head of research on developed market economy at Alliance Bernstein, said that the labor market is much more important to the Federal Reserve than the tariff situation. Employment data is unstable and anything can happen in any month. But nothing special makes us think that January's non-farm data will be significantly different from the past few months, which is enough to keep the Fed from holding on.
