Golden Finance reported that user Nick Ford posted on the X platform and shared that today’s popular Meme coin BARRON is a common scam that involves deceptive deployment or purchase from popular addresses. It stated that there were many voices on the Internet, including "Trump's official deployment address is buying BARRON" and claimed that the representative was the official token of Trump's youngest son Barron. While it appears from the chain that Trump’s official deployment is indeed purchasing BARRON at 0.01SOL or 0.001SOL per purchase, a check of TX reveals that the transfers are all coming from the Barron PF creator wallet. Users can also see themselves listed in the "from" row of transactions they make in their wallets. However, because Martin Shkreli, the former deployer of the Trump concept Meme token DJT, suggested that the token is "orthodox," it no longer matters whether the token is real, as long as the market believes it is real enough.
