Golden Finance reported that according to the DeFi report, blockchain startups received US$13.6 billion in venture capital in 2024, accounting for 4.9% of the total investment of US$279 billion for the year. This figure is up from the $10.1 billion raised in 2023, but still well below the record of $32.4 billion set in 2021. Going forward, benefiting from falling interest rates and regulatory clarity, analysts expect the crypto industry to attract more than $18 billion in venture capital in 2025.
