Golden Finance reported that the U.S. federal court ruled Friday that Brooklyn podcast host and cryptocurrency celebrity Thomas John Sfraga (TJ Stone) was sentenced to 45 months in prison and confiscated for telecom fraud. Sfraga deceived investors about $2 million between 2016 and 2022 through cryptocurrency and real estate investment scams, according to a Justice Department announcement. He also promised an investor that his fake crypto wallet project could provide a 60% return within three months, but then misappropriated funds to fill old debts and personal consumption. In addition, he lied that he ran several businesses.
