Golden Finance reported that a company that sells smartwatch surface designs through tamper-free tokens sued LVMH (LVMH) for patent infringement of the luxury fashion group. In a complaint filed in Texas federal court on March 10, Watch Skins accused LVMH of misappropriating its "groundbreaking NFT display technology." Watch Skins claims to have developed a unique system that allows users to display proven NFT artwork on smartwatches and possesses several patents related to the technology. The company claims that a smartwatch from LVMH's watch brand TAG Heuer and other products from the group's brands illegally use NFT display technology based on three patents owned by Watch Skins.
