Golden Finance reported that Gemini cryptocurrency exchange is expanding its trading capabilities for its European institutional clients to enable a US dollar payment channel for institutional clients in the UK and Switzerland. The feature will also be available to institutional users in Gibraltar, Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man. This new feature will enable institutions to deposit and withdraw USD to Gemini accounts for free and can trade cryptocurrencies directly in USD without converting to GBP or Euro, reducing transaction friction.
