Bailey said many elites in emerging markets want to live in the United States, but it is difficult to transfer $5 million abroad. Bitcoin provides a simpler, safer, and more prudent solution that should be considered, and Trump’s proposed “gold card” plan can be paid in bitcoin. If the government does take this measure, it should send another clear signal to the world that the United States is serious about incorporating Bitcoin into its internal policies.
