According to Decrypt, U.S. authorities have offered a reward of $10 million for capturing former Canadian Olympic snowboarder Ryan Wedding. Wedding is accused of serious allegedly operating a transnational cocaine empire. The FBI announced on Thursday that it had placed the Canadian on the list of top 10 wanted criminals to arrest him as soon as possible. In October 2024, the Justice Department filed a criminal lawsuit against Wedding and 15 other defendants, accusing them of leading the group and committing multiple atrocities during drug trafficking. U.S. authorities claim that Wedding allegedly used its criminal organization to smuggle hundreds of kilograms of cocaine and fentanyl into North America and planned multiple murders to protect its business.
