Bybit CEO: 77% of the funds stolen by hackers are still trackable, 20% are no longer trackable, and 3% are frozen

According to BybitC EO Ben Zhou, the total amount of funds stolen by hackers is US$1.4 billion (about 500,000 ETH), of which 77% are still traceable, 20% are no longer trackable, and 3% have been frozen. Specific analysis shows that 83% (417,348 ETH, about $1 billion) have been converted into Bitcoin, scattered in 6,954 wallets. Hackers mainly convert ETH to BTC through THORChain, accounting for about 72% (361,255 ETH). Another 16% of funds (79,655 ETH) were lost through the ExCH platform, and 8% of funds (40,233 ETH) were transferred through the OKXWeb3 proxy, of which about 5% were untrackable. Currently, 11 parties have assisted in freezing funds, including Mantle, Paraswap and ZachXBT, which contributed the most, paying a total of USDT bounty of 2.179 million.
