On February 28, Tim Beiko, head of agreement support at the Ethereum Foundation, updated information on the Holesky test network Pectra upgrade failure on X. Beiko said that large-scale slash (finishment) will be performed on the Holesky test network tonight to finalize the blocks on the correct chain, and the entire duration may last 2-3 weeks until the weight of slash-income validators dropped below 33% of the entire network. Beiko also mentioned that the upgrade time of Sepolia test network will not change, thinking that it will provide a longer test cycle for the main network upgrade. The mainnet upgrade will be discussed at the ACDC meeting next week, but it is unlikely to come up with a specific date.
