According to Golden Finance, Safe posted on social media that the attack on Bybit was implemented by hacking into the machine of Safe{Wallet} developers, resulting in malicious transactions disguised as legal transactions being submitted. External security researchers' reviews did not find any vulnerabilities in Safe smart contracts or front-end and service source code. The Safe{Wallet} front-end is still functioning properly and additional security measures have been taken. However, users need to be extra cautious and vigilant when signing transactions.
