According to news on December 17, on-chain analyst ZachXBT revealed that LastPass attackers launched attacks on more than 40 victim addresses and stole approximately US$5.36 million in crypto assets. The attacker then converted the stolen funds into ETH and transferred the assets cross-chain from the Ethereum network to the Bitcoin network through multiple instant exchanges in an attempt to conceal the flow of funds.
