Golden Finance reported that the U.S. dollar index, which measures the U.S. dollar against six major currencies, fell 0.13% that day and closed at 106.859 in late foreign exchange trading. As of late trading in New York, 1 euro was worth $1.0510, up from $1.0495 on the previous trading day; 1 pound was worth $1.2684, up from $1.2617 on the previous day. 1 U.S. dollar was exchanged for 154.13 Japanese yen, higher than 153.69 yen on the previous trading day; 1 U.S. dollar was exchanged for 0.8948 Swiss francs, higher than 0.8927 Swiss francs on the previous trading day; 1 U.S. dollar was exchanged for 1.4237 Canadian dollars, higher than the previous trading day 1.4233 Canadian dollars; 1 US dollar exchanged for 10.8870 Swedish krona, down from 10.9800 Swedish kronor in the previous trading day.
