According to Golden Finance, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy was criticized for sharing Meme currency trading on X platform, and some traders said he "smashed the market" with 3.5 million fans. The tokens he had previously invested in, the "Montoya por favor" and "Josh Allen MVP" quickly collapsed after a brief surge, causing controversy. Faced with criticism, Portnoy announced that he had purchased 50 million "JAILSTOOL" tokens and defended himself on the X platform. Portnoy has promoted Safemoon in the past, and the coin founder was later sued by the SEC for fraud.
