Golden Finance reports that StarkWare announced that computer science professor Moni Naor has joined its scientific committee as a principal researcher. At StarkWare, he will focus primarily on topics such as Bitcoin cryptography and Starknet decentralization. StarkWare said Moni has made groundbreaking contributions to computer science, including work on public-key systems that are resistant to chosen ciphertext attacks, non-malleable cryptography, visual cryptography, and innovative methods for authenticating human users (leading to the concept of CAPTCHAs) groundbreaking research. The first mention of proof of work was proposed by him together with Cynthia Dwork.
