Golden Finance reported that Nobel Prize winner in economics, known as the "father of modern finance", Eugene F. Fama, predicted in Capitalisn't podcast that Bitcoin will return to zero in 10 years. He believes that a blockchain-based financial system requires too much computing power, which is unsustainable. He said cryptocurrencies violate the basic rules of the medium of exchange and their value is highly unstable. He also questioned the positioning of Bitcoin as "digital gold" and believed that if it has no practical purpose, it will be worthless.
