According to news on December 9, Binance announced the relaunch of Binance Wallet (formerly "Binance Web3 Wallet"), aiming to make Web3 more accessible, more intuitive, and integrated into the daily lives of users around the world. The reboot will be conducted in phases, with each phase introducing a unique theme to address key challenges in Web3 adoption and ensure a smooth transition for users.
The first phase of this reboot focuses on fluency, with updates including a unified wallet for smooth asset management, a silky-smooth airdrop area and reward center, and a new simple interface design. This update continues to use MPC technology. New Web3 users can open accounts more smoothly and indirectly avoid security incidents. At the same time, the option of importing mnemonic private keys is retained for experienced users. To celebrate the relaunch of the Binance wallet and allow users to experience new features, Binance has launched a multi-week “$5 million airdrop carnival” event that will begin on December 10, 2024.
Winson Liu, global head of Binance Wallet, said: “We are on a mission to bring 1 billion users into Web3 and are focused on making this technology more accessible and easier to use. The new version of Binance Wallet will accelerate this process and provide intuitive tools to simplify the process. A centralized experience that makes it easy for everyone to explore and benefit from Web3.”
