Golden Finance reported that Roger Ver, an early Bitcoin investor and known as the “Bitcoin Jesus”, posted a video on social media asking Trump for help. Ver currently faces extradition in Spain on charges of failing to declare capital gains when he sold Bitcoin in 2017 and underreporting his Bitcoin holdings when he renounced his U.S. citizenship in 2014. Ver stated that he is the world's first Bitcoin ecological investor and emphasized that he gave up his American citizenship because he was worried about political persecution, but he currently faces a maximum sentence of 109 years in prison. He implored Trump to help end this "legal battle" so that he could return to the United States for investment and development.
