Golden Finance reports that Petrobras will launch a blockchain research and development project in January 2025, covering areas such as Bitcoin mining, asset tokenization and consensus mechanism applications. The project will be carried out in conjunction with institutions such as the Cenpes Research and Development Center, Universidade de Petrobras and Universidad Católica de Rio de Janeiro, Ledger Labs. In addition, Petrobras has cooperated with the Cardano Foundation at the end of 2023 to issue 500 dynamic NFTs for employee blockchain training.
