Golden Finance reports that fund management company Apex has reached a cooperation with Ownera, which provides interoperability solutions for tokenized assets.
According to reports, Ownera has created a FinP2P routing network that does not use blockchain itself. In many ways, this is like a hub, with different blockchains acting as spokes. Asset managers who want to provide access to ten blockchains can establish a single connection with Ownera.
The blockchain can be a hybrid of permissioned or permissionless blockchains, and FinP2P supports connections with Digital Asset’s Canton, R3’s Corda, Hyperledger Besu, Quorum, and more. FinP2P also provides connectivity to service providers such as custodians, asset servicing companies and, in the case of Apex, fund managers. As such, it will allow Apex to allocate and service assets on behalf of clients.
Apex founder and CEO Peter Hughes said the connectivity “will expand buy-side demand and access for custodians and asset servicing firms.”
