Golden Finance reported that Moroccan authorities arrested and detained five people suspected of being involved in cryptocurrency fraud. Police also recovered some of the funds allegedly linked to the scheme, as well as mobile devices used in the crime. The unnamed suspects, who range in age from 24 to 48, are accused of sending phishing emails to foreign citizens with the aim of obtaining funds from the victims' cryptocurrency wallets. The stolen funds were then allegedly used for personal purposes. Moroccan authorities arrested the suspect after receiving a tip-off through international law enforcement cooperation channels.
