Golden Finance reported that a screenshot shared by El Salvador President Nayib Bukele on X recently showed that the value of the country’s Bitcoin holdings has exceeded US$600 million. According to the screenshot, the value of El Salvador’s Bitcoin holdings increased by 117.74% to approximately $603 million. The country initially invested about $269.7 million in Bitcoin, with unrealized profits of more than $335 million, data shows. Elon Musk also praised the country for the impressive profits it has generated since adopting its Bitcoin strategy. The latest data shows that El Salvador is still implementing the “plan to increase its holdings of 1 BTC every day”, and its current Bitcoin holdings have reached 5,957.77 BTC, worth approximately US$595 million.
