Golden Finance reports that Canadian financial technology company Nuvei has launched payment settlement services using stablecoins for merchants in Latin America. Interoperability platform Rain, digital custodian BitGo and credit card issuer Visa are partners for its blockchain-based solution. Latin American merchants participating in Nuvei’s solution will be able to pay in stablecoins through digital wallets using physical or virtual Visa cards. BitGo will provide digital asset custody. This service will be available anywhere Visa is accepted. It will offer faster cross-border transactions, less complexity and better operational liquidity compared to traditional payment methods, according to a statement.
