Golden Finance reported that on January 22, Bloomberg Consulting ETF analyst Eric Balchon posted on social media regarding Rex’s submission of the Doge ETF and the Trump ETF, saying that these ETFs were submitted in accordance with the 1940 Act. application, so (theoretically, if not rejected) it could be available in early April (75 days after submission).
It is reported that Eric Balchon was referring to the 1940 Act, which regulates asset and derivatives portfolio funds. Applications submitted under the act also enjoy a streamlined 75-day review process. By leveraging this process, DOGE and the Trump ETF can get ahead of other filings (such as the XRP and Solana ETF), which require a cumbersome 240-day review process under the 19b-4 filing rules.
