Russia sentences Hydra market founder to life in prison

Golden Finance reports that Stanislav Moiseev, the founder of the online black market and cryptocurrency mixing service Hydra market, was sentenced to life imprisonment by a Russian court.
According to a statement from the Moscow Prosecutor's Office on December 2, the Moscow District Court found Moiseev and 15 of his associates guilty of organizing a criminal gang and illegally producing and selling psychotropic substances and drugs. Fifteen of Moiseyev's associates were sentenced to prison terms ranging from eight to 23 years. Moiseev was also fined $38,100 (4 million rubles), while his 15 associates were ordered to pay a total of $152,400 (16 million rubles).
