Golden Finance reported that according to CNBC, people familiar with the matter said Intel is considering hiring an external CEO to replace Kissinger and has hired executive search firm Spencer Stuart to identify potential successors. Intel's board also made an offer to recently departed director Lip-BuTan, asking if he would be interested in serving, one of the people said.
