Golden Finance reported that Fed Governor Waller said he is inclined to cut interest rates in December unless the data surprises. Policy rates are already restrictive enough that even a December cut would leave plenty of room to slow the pace of cuts down the road if needed. If data show that forecasts of slowing inflation are inaccurate, he will support keeping interest rates unchanged in December.
