Intel's leadership faces major changes as CEO Patrick retires

Golden Finance reports that Intel today announced that after a distinguished career of more than 40 years, CEO Patrick P. Gelsinger will retire from the company and withdraw from the board of directors, effective December 1, 2024 Effective from now on. Intel names two executives, David Zinsner and Michelle Johnston Holthaus, as interim co-CEOs while the board searches for a new CEO Candidate. Frank Yary, independent chairman of Intel's board of directors, will serve as interim executive chairman during the transition period. Intel Foundry's leadership structure remains unchanged. The Board of Directors has formed a committee that will work diligently and expeditiously to find a permanent successor to Patrick Gelsinger. (Golden Ten)
