In addition to solid tooling (Hardhat, Foundry), multiple different testing tools, i.e. different fuzzers, simulation tools (like Tenderly for debugging) and a strong ecosystem of auditors, more exciting things are happening in the EVM space. Excited about innovations, including from ZK's EVM to address scalability of ZKSync, Scroll to Linea and Succinct. There is also the Trump family encryption project WLF that will promote a lot of innovation in the DeFi field, so it is only a matter of time before ETH rises. Once it happens, it may be the largest retaliatory surge in history.
