According to news on January 18, the University of Toronto’s 12th annual Hackathon officially opened submissions on the developer incentive platform DoraHacks.io this weekend. This hackathon attracted more than 500 outstanding student developers from first-tier universities in Canada such as the University of Toronto and the University of Waterloo to sign up and complete the hackathon project development within 36 hours. This hackathon is sponsored by well-known companies such as Google DeepMind, RBC, Ubisoft, and 1Password, and is supported by DoraHacks.
UofTHacks is Canada's first annual hackathon series initiated by university students. It has a history of 12 years. It is also one of the largest student developer hackathons in Canada every year.
