According to news on January 17, Bitlayer, the first Bitcoin second-layer solution built based on the BitVM paradigm, officially announced the first minimum trust BTC bridge Finality Bridge driven by BitVM technology. Finality Bridge is built based on BitVM technology and has the characteristics of high security, support for native income and programmability. It supports users to safely mint BTC into YBTC (Yield BTC) tokens with minimal trust and participate in Bitlayer and other blockchains. DeFi scenarios such as liquidity mining, staking or lending in the ecosystem can obtain diversified integrated benefits without worrying about complex conversion processes and high transaction costs. Currently, Bitlayer Finality Bridge has been launched on the test network to support user testing experience. The subsequent technical team will launch more new features after collecting test feedback.
