Golden Finance reports that Tether has launched its cross-chain USDT0 token using cryptocurrency exchange Kraken’s native Ethereum extended second-layer network Ink. It is reported that USDT0 hopes to develop into a cross-chain "unified liquidity layer" to make the transfer of USDT in the crypto ecosystem easier. It uses LayerZero’s Omnichain Fungible Token standard, a relay designed to mint and burn tokens on different blockchains.
