Golden Finance reports that the U.S. SEC seems to be advancing a series of enforcement cases it is currently hearing in court. Stuart Alderoty, chief legal officer of Ripple, said in a statement with "This is a complete waste of time and taxpayer money," Alderoty said. "Nonetheless, we are confident in the appeal's position and look forward to working with the new SEC leadership to resolve this matter." Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse echoed Alderoty’s statement, suggesting that the SEC’s approach to cryptocurrency enforcement may change following President-elect Trump’s inauguration on January 20.
