Golden Finance reported that the DeFi derivatives protocol Cega announced that it had been acquired by a “leading platform”. The name of the acquirer and the acquisition amount were not disclosed. The company said it will decommission its product suite by the end of the year, with Cega's platform no longer accepting deposits and the protocol urging users to start withdrawing funds as the protocol's products cease services at the end of the year. Cega said on the Proud to be the first to introduce exotic options to DeFi, process 500 million transactions, and securely protect user funds in 3 years.”
