Golden Finance reported that Bitcoin mining company Riot Platforms announced its unaudited production and operations update for December 2024. It mined 516 BTC in December, a month-on-month increase of 4%. Riot increased deployed hashrate by 155% in 2024, outpacing the network’s 52% growth in hashrate over the same period. The company mined a total of 4,828 Bitcoins in 2024 and held a total of 17,722 Bitcoins at the end of 2024, a 141% increase in Bitcoin holdings compared to the end of 2023.
