The number of ETH held by liquid staking platforms has decreased by 70,000 since the end of November last year, of which Lido has decreased by 160,000.

Golden Finance reported that in October 2024, the number of ETH locked in the liquidity staking platform exceeded 14 million. However, the total amount of ETH currently held in these protocols is lower than the record level at the end of November (13.85 million ETH). As of January 5, 2025, approximately 13.78 million ETH are still locked in the liquidity staking platform, a decrease of 70,000 since the end of November. Among them, Lido dominates, accounting for 69.96% (holding 9.64 million pledged ETH, worth $34.9 billion). However, ETH staked on Lido has dropped by 160,000 since November 30, 2024, when 9.8 million ETH was staked. At the same time, Binance’s liquidity staking platform added 150,000 ETH in the past 36 days; Rocket Pool experienced continuous fund outflows, losing 479,374 ETH from October 29 to the end of November, and again in the past 36 days.
