Golden Finance reported that Simon Gerovich, CEO of Japanese listed company Metaplanet, tweeted that his goal is to increase the company’s Bitcoin holdings to 10,000 this year and expand Metaplanet’s influence in Japan and the Bitcoin ecosystem. Metaplanet’s current total Bitcoin holdings are 1,761.98 coins, worth approximately $167 million.
