Golden Finance reported that Bank of America expects the S&P 500 Index to achieve double-digit gains again in 2025, but said that there are better opportunities for individual stocks outside the benchmark index. In a note to clients on Tuesday, Savita Subramanian, the bank's head of U.S. equity and quantitative strategy, set the bank's target for the index at the end of 2025 at 6,666 points, about 11% higher than Monday's closing level of 5,997 points.
