Golden Finance reported that HashKey Capital CEO Deng Chao said that encryption projects will attract more venture capital funds in 2025. VC firms are looking at stablecoin products, tokenization of real world assets (RWA), artificial intelligence and infrastructure. Chao said that rising digital asset valuations in 2024 and the benefit of Donald Trump’s re-election in the United States will attract more venture capital capital into crypto projects. “These macro tailwinds will drive more venture capital into 2025 as we enter a supportive macro environment driven by U.S. stimulus and the formalization of the crypto regulatory framework,” Chao said. Despite the positive outlook, Deng Chao warned that macro risks including geopolitical tensions or increased deficit spending could exacerbate price volatility and uncertainty in the new year.
