Golden Finance reported that Microsoft (MSFT.O) said in a blog post on Friday that it will invest US$80 billion in AI data centers in fiscal year 2025, according to CNBC. Microsoft Vice Chairman and President Brad Smith wrote that more than half of Microsoft's $80 billion in spending will be in the United States. Microsoft's fiscal year 2025 will end in June this year.
