Golden Finance reported that U.S. stocks opened higher and moved lower, with the three major indexes collectively closing down. The Nasdaq fell 0.9%, with a cumulative gain of 28.64% in 2024; the S&P 500 index fell 0.43%, with a cumulative gain of 23.31% in 2024; the Dow fell 0.07%, with a cumulative gain of 12.88% in 2024. Among them, the Nasdaq Composite Index and the S&P 500 Index both recorded four consecutive daily declines, and the S&P 500 Index hit its longest year-end decline since 1966. Most of the large technology stocks fell. Tesla fell by more than 3% and rose by more than 62% in 2024; Nvidia fell by more than 2% and rose by more than 171% in 2024.
