Golden Finance reported that Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong invested approximately $74 million in the pro-crypto political action committee Fairshake, and in a series of preset transactions that began less than a week after Trump was elected, Armstrong sold $100 million worth of Coinbase stock, and subsequently sold a total of approximately US$437 million in stocks. This part of the stock increased in value by US$129 million compared with before the election. He explained the plan on X days before the election, saying he was diversifying "investing in moonshots" but would retain the "vast majority" of his shares.
