Golden Finance reports that cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com has signed a memorandum of understanding with Emirates Islamic Bank to continue to expand its market presence in the UAE and the wider Gulf region. Mohammed Al Hakim, President of UAE Operations at Crypto.com, said: This collaboration builds a bridge between the cryptocurrency and Islamic banking sectors, paving the way for future collaborations in tokenized sukuk and Shariah-compliant crypto solutions. Previously, Crypto.com acquired regulated Orion Principals Limited and launched an AED wallet to provide local currency services to users in the UAE.
