Golden Finance reported that Sberbank, TBank and Tochka Bank have become participants in the pilot program for using digital rubles for transactions. A total of 12 financial institutions have previously participated in the pilot: Alfa-Bank, DOM.RF Bank, Ingosstrakh Bank , VTB, Gazprombank, Ak Bars Bank, MTS Bank, Promsvyazbank, Sovcombank, Sinara Bank, TKB Bank and Agricultural Bank of Russia, which have signed an agreement with the Central Bank of Russia and are configuring their systems to participate in the project, it is reported that the widespread use of the digital ruble is expected to begin gradually from July 1, 2025.
