According to DLNews, Solana co-founder Stephen Akridge allegedly hid millions of dollars in staking rewards during his acrimonious divorce from his ex-wife Elisa Rossi. Rossi filed suit in California state court seeking withheld pledge rewards. The pair were married for nearly a decade, during which time they accumulated a substantial fortune, largely derived from Akridge's founding role at Solana Labs.
According to the lawsuit, Rossi claims the divorce process was long and contentious. As part of the divorce settlement, she was entitled to a portion of the SOL token proceeds, but Akridge did not give her the staking rewards, causing her to lose millions of dollars. After learning Akridge was hiding these staking rewards, Rossi contacted him multiple times to request their return, but was met with a cold response.
