Former Ernst & Young global innovation officer Jeff Wong serves as independent director of WSPN to help global business development

According to news on December 26, stablecoin infrastructure company WSPN (Worldwide Stablecoin Payment Network) announced today that Jeff Wong was appointed as the company’s independent director. Mr. Jeff Wong has more than 25 years of experience in technology innovation and enterprise transformation. He served as the global chief innovation officer of Ernst & Young (EY) from 2015 to 2024, leading the company's global innovation plan and establishing a company focused on artificial intelligence, regional Advanced technology laboratories in areas such as blockchain, quantum computing and Web3. It is reported that before joining Ernst & Young, Mr. Wong held leadership positions at eBay and J.P. Morgan Partners. He is a current member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a member of the Forbes Technology Council, and serves as the founding chair of the Technology and Innovation Committee of the Asia Society. In addition, he has been a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Innovation Ecosystem Future Council and has received important awards such as "50 Outstanding Asian American Business People".
